Thinking back to that dreadful day almost seems
surreal somehow...
I remember waking up that morning and taking
my routine trip into Manhattan not thinking of any-
thing in particular. Just coasting. I remember hit-
ting the scene after the first plane had struck. I
thought that it was just a fire...a big fire...
The second plane struck as I parked my car. It
was loud and you could feel it resonate in the
center of your chest. That's when I knew...

It didn't take long for the total chaos to begin. The
mad panic as people fled wildly down the streets,
up the streets...or wherever. There were people
falling from the towers along with the debris.
By the time the first tower fell I was already
hustling towards the Brooklyn Bridge. There was
a huge mass of people already on it...

We (DreamSurgery) all made it back safely to Brooklyn. That Great Spirit had mercy on us. This
was not the case for many others...
This was a time that will forever be etched in our
core, but like everything else it becomes
faded...less vivid. We fight to hold on to the sharpness...the sounds...the visuals but it fades like tears in rain.

Please have a look at our film; "Love's Ashes".
Take a piece of our memory and hold onto it.
Whenever you might feel distressed, or the bills
are kickin' your ass, or you've been dumped by
your lover, or fired from a gig...remember this;
as long as there's life there's hope. Think about
those who perished...they know its better to be
alive.

"Love's Ashes" is 4.8 MB. If you can deal with
that then come with us...
